You don't see too many of these anymore and at $2,000 this is a steal. I'd love to see this scoot in person. If you're looking for a solid Lambretta to restore or just use as a beater ride this one is for you. Personally, I would buy this scoot for myself if I didn't hate dealing with shipping. Here's the link to the ad and some photos. http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=897412
It's also listed on Phoenix, AZ craigslist at this link http://phoenix.craigslist.org/cph/mcy/1528254169.html

1966 Vespa VBB for $650 near Hartford, CT
It's hard to tell if this scoot is legit or a bodge from the photos but I'm betting it's legit. It's at least worth checking out at this price. The ad says it's complete so go check it out and let me know! Here's the link to the ad and some bad photos. http://hartford.craigslist.org/mcy/1529409962.html
Allstates, Allstates, Allstates!
I'm getting a little tired of finding Allstates all over the place. These are good deals but the Allstate is on the low end of the Vespa spectrum. Here's a few listings of a few Allstates on craigslist in varying locales.
The first is a 1958 Allstate basketcase located in Salem, Oregon for $500. This is a pretty good deal if it's complete but I think it's missing a few bits so I'd imagine there's a little wiggle room on the price. Here's the link to the ad http://salem.craigslist.org/mcy/1528536310.html
This next Allstate I debated on even posting since I already have one listed that is in better condition for the same price. This one is a 1964 Allstate located in Galesburg, Illinois for $900 here's the link to the posting on craigslist http://quincy.craigslist.org/mcy/1527367096.html

1974 Vespa Super 150 for $1,500 in Austin, Texas
I found this Vespa Super on the Austin, Texas craigslist for $1,500 It's not a great deal or anything but it's a decent price. I'm not sure if the paint job is original but I think they did come in yellow. Personally I like the Super but the 8" wheels kind of suck as far as handling goes on this scoot. Here's the info and the photos http://austin.craigslist.org/mcy/1526294004.html
Vespa P150x for sale in Nashville, TN. for $1,000
I've seen this scoot posted for awhile on different sites but it looks to be available still. The owner said in the comments below that it runs but needs work and he has the kickstart quadrant and lever included in the sale that it needs to be fixed. Personally I don't like the purple paint. It's a pretty good deal in my opinion at $1,000. Here's all the info. http://nashville.craigslist.org/mcy/1522733079.html
2005 Stella on Phoenix, AZ craigslist for $750 RE-LISTED!!!! NEW LINK!!!!
This is another Stella going cheap in Phoenix, Arizona. Looks to be a little rough cosmetically. Ad says it won't idle. Could just need some tweaking. Good deal if you ask me. I'd buy this in a heartbeat if it was anywhere near me. $750 is a damn good deal for a Stella even if it's a little rough. Here's everything you need to know to pick this up.http://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/mcy/1531176798.html

A few odd scoots up for auction January 7th, 8th, and 9th on proxibid.com
The first scooter is a 1963 Silver Pigeon I believe it's the rare C-83 but it could be the C-80 model. They were both very similar. The front fender looks like it's been cut down but it could just be the angle of the photo. I believe there were only 10 C-83's imported to the U.S. so this would be a cool collector scoot once that horrid paint job is gone. oddball scoot for sure but I'm starting to like the Silver Pigeons. Here's the link to the auction and the photo. http://www.proxibid.com/asp/LotDetail.asp?ahid=460&aid=24815&lid=6932452#topoflot
The third scooter up for auction is probably the best looking 1959 Fuji Rabbit I have ever seen. I'm sure all these scoots will go for more than they are worth but you might get one for a steal. It's hard to tell with auctions sometimes. Any ways here's the info. http://www.proxibid.com/asp/LotDetail.asp?ahid=460&aid=25004&lid=6935629#topoflot
There's also a 1961 Iso scooter up for auction. I haven't been able to identify this model. There's an 1-a model that looks similar but it's definitely not the same scooter. This thing is pretty rare also from what I can tell. Anyways, if you're into odd scooters this one is definitely weird looking. Here's the link and photo. http://www.proxibid.com/asp/LotDetail.asp?ahid=460&aid=24815&lid=6932467#topoflot

This is also the rarest and probably strangest of all the scoots listed in this auction. The German made Maico Mobil up for auction is one funny looking scooter. This one is a 1955 and looks to be in excellent condition. I think this scooter is awesome! It looks like it should be in a Dr. Seuss book. Anyways here's the link and photo. http://www.proxibid.com/asp/LotDetail.asp?ahid=460&aid=25004&lid=6936542#topoflot

A smallframe 125cc primavera for sale in Oklahoma for $500
I found this on the Oklahoma city craigslist for $500. I spoke with the owner and he said it's a barn find. It's missing the stator and the scoot is in pieces but otherwise complete. Might be a nice project for someone. He said he'd e-mail photos to me. I'll post the photos as soon as I get them. Here's the link to the info http://oklahomacity.craigslist.org/mcy/1519628407.html

2005 Genuine Stella for $1,500 obo in Norton, Ohio
Okay, I know this isn't a vintage scoot but it's a damn good deal so I decided to post it anyways. Normally I wouldn't bother. I owned a 2003 Stella for awhile and they are very reliable bikes. If you know scooters you know this is basically PX150. I actually like the custom paint job on this. I'd buy it if I had $1,500 laying around that wasn't already reserved for other scooters. Someone go get this quick! Here's the link to the ad on craigslist http://akroncanton.craigslist.org/mcy/1508664108.html and the photo.

1959 Sears Allstate Vespa for $600 in Rome, Georgia
Here's another Allstate. I must have at least 5 of these posted on my blog right now and personally I don't like them but I know some people do. At $600 it's a good price but I think the same bike has been listed for less and in better condition in other cities. The motor is stuck on this one. Here's the link to the ad http://atlanta.craigslist.org/nat/mcy/1509250779.html and the photos.
Lambretta LD for $650 in Detroit on craigslist! Now being sold on Ebay!
This is my dream scooter since it's the scooter that got me into scooters. My dad had one and it was a family scooter for years. The one listed on Detroit craigslist is now sold but I wish I would have been able to buy it. The LD is not very fast at all but it has style for sure.Look at those flames, I imagine those were painted on sometime in the late 50's or 60's, very cool. Here's the link http://detroit.craigslist.org/wyn/mcy/1510259344.html
Well now this is being sold on ebay, lame. There are allot more photos on the new listing. I'm sure someone bought this for the $650 or less when it was listed on ebay and now it's being re-sold on ebay. Still might end up getting a good deal though. Anyways, here's the link http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1958-Lambretta-LD125-mk111-vintage-scooter-all-original_W0QQitemZ320464125098QQcmdZViewItemQQptZScooters_Mopeds?hash=item4a9d267caa

Package deal! 2 Vespas in NY for $800
I found these on the Long Island, NY craigslist and they look pretty rough, but for $400 a piece they might not be too bad a deal for someone. The white one looks like a Cushman/Vespa re-badge, and the other looks to be a small frame. Maybe it's a sport 100? Hard to tell from the photos. Here's the link to the info http://newyork.craigslist.org/lgi/mcy/1510249131.html and here's the photos....

Mitsubishi Silver Pigeon Scooter - $450 Columbus, Ohio
You don't see these too often but here's an old Mitsubishi Silver Pigeon. Looks to be pretty complete. I saw one of these sell for $3,000 restored at an auction awhile back. Cool project for someone who likes odd ball scoots and a nice price too at $450. Anyways here's the photos and the link to the ad on craigslist. http://columbus.craigslist.org/mcy/1499404316.html

1964 Lambretta Li 125 Series 3 in Kittery, Maine for $1,100 THIS IS SOLD!!!!!!
I can't believe this is still for sale! Here's the description that is listed on the scooter bbs:
64 Li125 -original paint. Essentially complete except for the fuel tap lever. Straight but lots of "patina", dings, scrapes, etc. Tank will need to be cleaned. Engine is in place and turns over with good compression. All cables, fuel and electrical will need to be reconnected to the engine. Previous owner had been riding it then decided to start a restoration by removing the engine. Then it just sat. Wires were cut just above the spot where they enter the housing to the stator, also the braided ground wire was cut. One of the side panels will need some banging out around the lever so it will close properly. The lock to the glove box is broken. An hour with some rubbing compound would do this bike a world of good. Easy project for someone. If I find the time to work on it price will go up accordingly.
I'm located in the Kittery, Maine/Portsmouth, NH area - one hour north of Boston. No shipping.

1977 P200 in D.C. for $1,300 SOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It must be the week for P series scoots. Anyways, here's another P200 for sale for $1,300. Looks to be in pretty damn good condition too. The price is definitely right! I'd drive to D.C. for this myself if my stupid van wasn't acting up. Here's the link to all the info and the photos. http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/doc/mcy/1499262627.html
Well, I decided to call on this one because I was getting interested in picking it up myself. Turns out it sold last night.

1979 P200 for $1,000 in Denver
Found this on craigslist in Denver. Probably a P200. Nice project scoot for $1,000 These things are bulletproof, I bet it just needs some simple work done to it to get it running. Anyways here's the link and the photo. http://denver.craigslist.org/mcy/1493647614.html
1964 Allstate in Hamilton, Ohio for $1,200
Okay, I debated about even posting this since the price is high for an Allstate, especially since it doesn't run. I do think that the owner will come down on the price substantially based on the location and time of year, but I could be wrong. It's listed on the Cincinnati craigslist. Here's the link and the photos. http://cincinnati.craigslist.org/mcy/1498079215.html

Vespa P series for auction January 2nd in Watauga, Texas
Well I found this beauty doing my regular auctioneer searches. Looks to be Vespa P series just don't know which model. Check out the Vespa guard on the front fender. I thought that was pretty cool. Looks like it's been buried in someones garage for years. Also, the date on the photo is not correct. The photo was taken recently but the auctioneer didn't set the date on his camera. I think this might go for more than it's worth due to the classic cars offered up at the auction also. Those classic car hunters always seem to get all bid happy on the scooters whenever they're offered up at an auction with old cars. Hey, you never know until you go check it out. This one is obviously too far for me to attend but let me know if one of you who read this pick it up. Here's all the info you'll need to attend the auction as well as a photo of the scooter. http://ransberger.com/
Okay, here's an update. I found out that this is a P125x with only 800 miles on the odometer! There are more photos on the site but since I'm already updating this I guess I might as well post them so here they are!
