Fuji Rabbit 90cc scooter S-202A for $500 in Boston, Mass.

Here's one you don't see everyday. It's a 1960's Fuji Rabbit small frame. I'm pretty sure I posted 2 of these that came up for sale in California somewhere. This one looks to be in good condition and would be a fun project for someone looking for an oddball scooter. Anyways, here's the link and the photos. http://boston.craigslist.org/sob/mcy/1699441149.html

1957 VL1T? 150 for $950 in Detroit, Michigan

1957 Vespa VL1T for $950. I guess this is the Allstate version of the Vespa VL1T or VB1T. These things are cool looking but probably not the best buy for someone looking for a first scooter. They are not suitable for daily driving and you'd have a hard time keeping up with traffic for sure. Still, it is a nice looking scoot for a very good price. Here's the pictures and the link. http://detroit.craigslist.org/wyn/mcy/1699690836.html

1981 PX125E for $1,350 in Seattle, Washington

This is a steal! 1981 Vespa PX125E that doesn't look too bad. I've definitely seen worse go for allot more. Great daily rider starter scoot for someone. Here's the link and photos. http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/mcy/1698278686.html

1972 Vespa 125cc for $1,200 in Indianapolis, Indiana

I'm pretty sure this is a Vespa Super 125cc VNC1T but I could be wrong. It's probably a 150cc Sprint and the owner just listed it accidentally as 125cc. There's a few things in the photo that have me thrown off. The engine side cowl looks like it has 5 louvers which would point to a Super being that the Sprint had 6 louvers. The headset has me thrown off too since it looks like it came off a small frame which could be accurate for either model. The earlier Supers had gray hand-grips but I don't think '72 is really early for the Super since it was made from 65-76. The Sprint also had gray hand-grips but not the Sprint Veloce. If you know what this is, let me know before I lose sleep over it. Here's the link and the photo. Whatever the hell it is, it looks to be in great original condition. I'd say it's worth checking out. http://indianapolis.craigslist.org/mcy/1697877489.html

1980 Vespa Sport 100 for $1,200 in Santa Fe, New Mexico

This little small frame Vespa Sport 100 looks to be in excellent condition though it is hard to tell from the small photos. I'd be willing to bet the paint is good and it has all 4 turn signals which you don't see often. I'd say it's worth at least $1,500 so $1,200 for this is a damn good price. I know some people would disagree with me there since small frames are not as desirable but you don't see too many of the Sport 100's around and certainly not in this condition. Anyways, here's the link and the photos. http://santafe.craigslist.org/mcy/1696758220.html

1980 Vespa P series for $1,500 in Boise, Idaho

This thing looks good and if it's a P200 this is a damn steal! If it's a smaller one it's still a damn steal! Here's the link and the photos. http://boise.craigslist.org/mcy/1695751483.html

1979 P200E for $800 in Elma, Washington

Here's a Vespa P200 for a very fair price. It is missing the carburetor which is not a big deal. This will make a nice project for someone who wants a daily rider. Here's the link and the photo. http://olympic.craigslist.org/mcy/1695233762.html

1971 Vespa Super for $750 in Odessa, Texas

Here's a project Vespa Super. I'd say it's a fair price for the state it's in. I probably wouldn't pay more than $500 for it but I'm cheap. It sounds like it's complete for the most part. Here's the link and the photos. http://odessa.craigslist.org/mcy/1694725110.html

1964 Allstate for $150 in Dallas, Texas

Who knows what's all there on this thing. I'm assuming the motor is missing. This is still a good price since there's probably over $150 in parts there. This would make a good parts bike at best I think. Here's the link and the photo. http://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/mcy/1694174495.html

1977-1981 Vespa P125X for $500 in Houston, Texas

Here's a damn good deal on a project Vespa P125X. Parts for these are readily available. It looks a little rough but it's got character. I'd say at $500 this is a damn steal! Here's the link and the photos. http://houston.craigslist.org/mcy/1694092080.html

1965 Lambretta, Cento for $900 in Dallas, Texas

Here's a nice looking Lambretta Cento project. The price is a little high for a Cento but if you could get it for $600 I'd say you paid a fair price. This things are rare but not very desirable to most. Personally, I like the little bastards. Here's the link and photo. http://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/mcy/1696655393.html

1957 VNB or VNA for $600 in Knoxville, Tennesee

I've listed this one before but it's back up for sale for $300 less than it was previously listed for. I'd say this is a damn good buy now. The ad says it's complete. This would make a great project for someone. Anyways, here's the link and the photos. http://knoxville.craigslist.org/cto/1697242695.html

2001 Bajaj Chetak for $875 in St. Louis, Missouri

Ugly as sin but if you're looking for a reliable daily rider, I've heard nothing but good things about the Bajaj Chetak. The price is damn good too. Here's the link and the photos. http://stlouis.craigslist.org/mcy/1697212505.html

1964 Vespa 90 for $800 in Columbus, Ohio

Here's a nice little smallframe project for a fair price. It's a Vespa 90 and it probably won't take much to get her running. Definitely worth checking out. Here's the link and the photo. http://columbus.craigslist.org/mcy/1689787309.html

1981 Vespa P125 for $1,500 in Grand Rapids, Michigan

Here's a damn good deal on a P125. This would make a great starter scoot for someone. This thing looks pretty damn good and if it runs this is a steal! Here's the link and some photos. http://grandrapids.craigslist.org/mcy/1674373878.html

1981 Bajaj Chetak for $1,000 in Detroit, Michigan

Here's a running Bajaj Chetak for a fair price. I actually like the old Bajaj scooters and I bought one last year. It's hard to tell how straight this thing is but it's definitely worth checking out. Here's the link and the photo. http://detroit.craigslist.org/okl/mcy/1686318028.html

1971 Vespa 90 for $850 in Boston, Mass.

Great deal here on a running Vespa 90 that looks pretty damn good. I'd say this is a damn good price for this scooter. The paint looks really good. The engine side door is actually there for once! Someone should go snatch this up and kit it. Here's the link and the photo. http://boston.craigslist.org/bmw/mcy/1686105599.html

1962 Lambretta LI 125 Series III for $1,200 in Denver, Colorado

Here's a nice looking Lambretta Li 125 for a very good price! The ad says it runs great but has some minor electrical problems. Still, for $1,200 it's well worth it. The paint looks original but I could be wrong. Definitely worth checking out. Here's the link and the photos. http://denver.craigslist.org/mcy/1681350126.html

1978 Vespa P-Series scooter for $775 and Fuji Rabbit for $450 in San Diego, California

Here's a running P-Series scooter for $775. What more can I say? This is a damn steal!!! Someone go snatch this up! Here's the link and the photo. The ad also says he has a Fuji Rabbit for $450. http://sandiego.craigslist.org/csd/mcy/1680877854.html

All original 1973 Rally 180 on Ebay in Warrenton, Virginia

I usually don't post listings on ebay because thins seem to go for an exorbitant amount of money and this blog is dedicated to finding good deals. I doubt anyone will steal this scooter for less than $1,000 but it may happen. This thing does look great and I bet it would not take much to get back on the road. It only has 4,330 original miles! Anyways, here's the link and one photo. There are more photos on the listing but I don't feel like posting them all here and it's a pain in the butt to steal 'em off ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300415461664#v4-34

1974 Vespa Super at auction in Cedar Falls, Iowa on Wednesday April 14th.

Here's a nice looking all original Vespa Super that's coming up for auction. Who knows you might steal this for $100. It's hard to tell what a scooter will go for at auction especially in rural areas. The auctioneer estimates it will sell between $600-$900 which would be good. Usually it's less than they're worth though. Anyways, here's the link and the photo. There's another link for the auction also but it doesn't have the Vespa listed on it yet but I'll go ahead and post it also. http://waterloo.craigslist.org/mcy/1679273970.html

1976 Sprint Veloce for $1,000 in Cincinnati, Ohio

Okay, I figured I'd list this since I wasted this guys time and I feel bad for doing so. I had planned on buying this but it's just not worth it for me personally. The price he has on the ad is just something his wife threw out there. I talked him down to $1,000. I went and looked at the scooter and here's what I can tell you about it. It's actually a '76. It runs but I have not heard it run. I will say it has some issues. The tank is a little rusty and will need to be replaced but not because of the rust. It's been jimmy rigged with a weird shut off valve with the original petcock being gone but no cutting of the frame or anything just some welding to the tank. It's missing the Sprint V. badge on the rear. It definitely needs a carb cleaning/rebuild. The front brake lever is broken on the end. The tires need to be replaced as they are original. The speedometer is broken. The body has been touched up with spray paint. According to the owner it's been laid down a few times but the frame is not cracked and everything else is pretty straight upon my inspection. The front fender crest is also missing. I'd say it'd make a good candidate for restoration if you have the $ to put into it. I'd say $1,000 for this scooter is near fair as far as the price goes. Here's the link and some photos. http://cincinnati.craigslist.org/mcy/1663016947.html

195? Lambretta LD up for auction in Manhattan, Kansas on Monday April 19th

Okay here's a rough looking Lambretta LD but I've seen worse. It's coming up for auction on April 19th, 2010. This is listed as a Cushman on the website and it is obviously not a Cushman. This may go for a good price since it's in the Mid-West, the seller doesn't know what it is, the auctioneer doesn't know what it is, and it's in rough condition but hell it might be complete and make a great parts bike for someone. You could end up with it for $50. You just never know at these kind of auctions. I bought a 99% complete Vespa Sport 100 last year for $100 and it was listed as a Plaggio on the site so no one else found it and I was the only interested party in attendance. Anyways, here's the link and the photo. http://gannonauctions.com/2010/04/19.php

1964 Vespa 90 for $999 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Here's a running Vespa 90 for a fair price. It's not a huge deal but the price is fair for it's current condition which I'd say is drivable but fair to rough condition. I would say this would be a nice one to ride while you can and then fix it up over the winter. Anyways, here's the link and the photos. http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/mcy/1673077405.html
