1963 Lambretta Li150 for $1,000 o.b.o. in Michigan City, Indiana

I want this scooter so bad but unfortunately I cannot get it right now. This is a great deal for a Lambretta Li150 in this condition even with the broken horncast. Someone should go get this right now! Here's the link and the photos. http://chicago.craigslist.org/nwi/mcy/1551988126.html

  1. Dude, I'm the one who got it! It really runs rides and is in great mechanical condition. I'm working on getting the cosmetics sorted now.

  3. The only prob. I've found is the electrics have been fiddled with by someone and will need to be replaced. Also, the right rear floor board outrigger has become "liberated" from the frame. All of the other welds are sound and there is very little rust. I usually do motorbikes (see my blog detroitcaferacer.blogspot) But I've always wanted one of these! I've been trying to sort out the warning signs of an Asian import but so far it seems to be a legit Italian born bike. If you know of any warning signs let me know.
